Poppy Hand-Crafted Popcorn is a women-led Asheville based snack company that was due for a refreshed brand image, packaging, website and positioning to help them for the anticipated rapid growth ahead.
We started with a strategy session to define the future needs of Poppy and realized the passion behind the leader Ginger was to bring more joy and personality into the brand. So we created all new messaging, a brand library filled with visual assets, redefined colors, fonts and brand messaging. We shot professional photography and incorporated high-end styling that created a personality for the brand that was currently missing. From there we created the 2023 Spring Catalog, social media graphics, new pattern designs and we’re currently working on the new website, all new packaging design for bags, cylinder and future products for 2023.

The Challenge
The only 100% pure ceramic cookware company in the non-toxic cookware category, Xtrema was battling a broad misinformed customer base, outdated branding in a crowded space, and a dull website experience. People were clicking to learn more on the website, but conversion rates were low and purchase rates were not increasing.
As a nationwide, D2C brand with a decade in business and countless life-changing 5-star reviews, this family-started, family-owned brand had an ambitious mission to help all people find health with safe pots, pans, skillets and baking sheets that don’t leach toxic chemicals like other brands. We were up for the challenge.
We first started with a brand refresh to align the brand look and feel, colors and fonts with the target demographic. Then moved into content creation and website UX/UI design within the Shopify+ platform.
The Solution
In our partnership with Xtrema, we developed an entire brand identity refresh with new colors, fonts, and graphics, uplifting the whole brand look and feel to be more attractive to their target customer base while keeping their existing logo intact. Alongside the brand refresh, we produced and executed a full-day photoshoot securing shoot location and talent, planning shot lists down to the very minute with our professional photography team, styling and editing through post-production to deliver hundreds of images for use across email, social, web, collateral, and more, equipping them with content with months and years to come.
With the foundation strongly planted in the ground, we continued to elevate the brand with a website solid strategy, intuitive UX/UI wireframing, exquisite and unique design, and on-brand copywriting.
