As a result, Natalie’s has seen substantial expansion, increased market presence, and a significant rise in sales, from $70 million in 2019 to an estimated $140 million in 2023. The Challenge
Natalie’s Orchid Island Juice, a company rooted in authenticity and dedication to quality, needed to refresh its branding and packaging to reflect its growth and commitment to high-quality, minimally processed juices. With an expanding product line and increased market presence, the brand faced the challenge of maintaining its core values while modernizing its identity. Additionally, the company needed to strengthen its digital presence to drive both direct-to-consumer and wholesale sales, ensuring continued growth in an increasingly competitive market.
As a nationwide, D2C brand with a decade in business and countless life-changing 5-star reviews, this family-started, family-owned brand had an ambitious mission to help all people find health with safe pots, pans, skillets and baking sheets that don’t leach toxic chemicals like other brands. We were up for the challenge.
We first started with a brand refresh to align the brand look and feel, colors and fonts with the target demographic. Then moved into content creation and website UX/UI design within the Shopify+ platform.
The Solution
Since 2017, Made Outside has been partnering with Natalie’s Orchid Island Juice to manage a comprehensive rebrand and repositioning of the company as a purpose-driven brand. This collaboration began with a rebranding and repackaging project that aimed to emphasize consumer benefits, which played a crucial role in building trust and boosting sales. The updated logo and packaging design was crafted to highlight the brand’s legacy and commitment to natural, high-quality juice, and the website we developed created a tremendous volume for both direct-to-consumer and wholesale channels.
In addition to the initial rebranding efforts, Made Outside has provided ongoing advertising and content support, campaign development, and assistance with non-profit and purpose-led initiatives. Our long-term partnership with Natalie’s continues to thrive, ensuring the brand remains true to its values while achieving substantial growth and success. The result has been a significant increase in market presence, product distribution, and sales, positioning Natalie’s Orchid Island Juice as a leader in the premium juice market.
